Toxicology
They are potent photosensitizers that chance exposure to these compounds in field can lead to severe photo dermatitis with blistering , in addition to it act as powerful mutagens in presence of UV
مهم جدا الا يتعرض الشخص لضوء الشمس فى فترة الاشعة فوق البنفسجية أثناء تناول بذر الخلة لانها تمتص ضوء الشمس بقوة وبذلك يمكن ان تسبب حرق للجلد أو للعين

It was found that it has no effect on total cholesterol and triglyceride levels although HDL levels increased and LDL / HDL ratio decreased
وجد ان ليس له تأثير على مستوى الكوليستيرول او الدهون الثلاثية الكلى على الرغم من ان مستوى الHDL يزيد ونسبة ال LDL/HDL تقل
Contraindications
Because it is a uterine stimulant
khella should not be used during pregnancy until more researches are available, it should not used during lactation, it should not be given for children
Persons with hypersensitivity to khella, liver disease, severe cardiac disorders ,or hypotension should avoid its use
يزيد من انقباضات الرحم لذا لا يجب اعطاؤه للحوامل
كذلك لا يحبذ اعطاؤه للأم المرضعة ولا للأطفال
ولا يجب اعطاؤه للاشخاص ذوى الحساسية المفرطة لموادها الفعالة
ولا يحبذ لمرضى الكبد او القلب او ضغط الدم المنخفض
Interactions
Herb /drug interaction
Anticoagulants: khella increase risk of bleeding when used with anticoagulants such as heparin , warfarin , and aspirin ; so avoid
concurrent use
يفضل تجنب استخدام الخلة فى نفس الوقت مع مضادات التجلط مثل الهيبارين أو الوارفارين أو الاسبرين لانها تزيد من نسبة خطر حدوث نزيف
Antihypertensive: increased hypotension is possible when khella is
used with antihypertensive
استخدام الخلة مع خافض ضغط الدم المرتفع من الممكن ان يسبب هبوطا فى ضغط الدم غير مرغوب فيه
Diuretics: increased hypotension is possible
كما فى خافض ضغط الدم المرتفع
Digoxin: interaction may occur
من الممكن حدوث تداخل
